PSX: buying at bourse, KSE-100 up nearly 1,500 points
Buying returned at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining nearly 1,500 points during trading on Tuesday. At 2:20pm, the benchmark index was hovering at 167,366.98, up 1,499.67 points or 0.90%. Buying was observed in key sectors, including automobile assemblers, cement, commercial banks, oil and gas exploration companies, OMCs, power generation and refinery. Index-heavy stocks, including ARL, HUBCO, OGDC, PPL, POL, HBL, NBP and UBL, traded in the green.
