This Privacy Policy explains how Yasir Mahmood Securities (Private) Limited (“YMS,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operating the invest.pk platform and associated trading applications, collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal information of visitors, prospective clients, and account holders (“you,” “client”).

YMS is a Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) holder of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under TREC number 294.

By visiting this website, opening an account, or using our trading platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your information as described below.

2. Information We Collect

a) Identity & KYC information (collected during account opening, as mandated by SECP/PSX Know-Your-Customer regulations):

  • Full name, CNIC/NICOP/passport number, date of birth, father's/husband's name
  • Residential and mailing address, contact number, email address
  • Photograph, signature, and copies of identity documents
  • Bank account and IBAN details
  • Source of income/funds declaration, occupation, and next-of-kin details (where required)

b) Trading & financial information:

  • Portfolio holdings, order history, trade confirmations, and account statements
  • Margin, exposure, and account balance information
  • Payment and settlement records

c) Technical & usage information:

  • IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
  • Pages visited, session duration, and click behavior, collected via cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager)

d) Communications:

  • Records of correspondence via email, live chat, WhatsApp, or phone support
  • Complaints and their resolution, as required under SECP/PSX complaint-handling regulations

8. FATCA & CRS Compliance

As part of account opening, you consent for YMS or any of its affiliates and subsidiaries (including branches) to disclose and share information pertaining to your account(s) with domestic or overseas regulators or tax authorities where necessary to establish your tax liability in any jurisdiction, in compliance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). You also authorize YMS to deduct withholding tax from your account when required by domestic or overseas regulators or tax authorities, or to pay out from your account such amounts as may be required under applicable laws, regulations, or agreements with regulators or authorities.

9. Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption, access controls, and secure authentication — to protect your personal and financial information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. While we take data security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain client account, KYC, and transaction records for as long as required under applicable SECP and PSX record-keeping regulations, and thereafter securely delete or anonymize such data unless further retention is required by law or ongoing legal proceedings.

11. Virtual Trading Account

We offer a virtual (demo) trading account on our mobile application for practice purposes, using simulated funds. Virtual account data is not linked to live trading or settlement systems. If you wish to delete your virtual trading account and associated data, you may do so by:

  • Opening the app menu and navigating to Settings
