PSX Closing Bell: Bulls Seal the Deal

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index extending its recovery from the previous session's steep losses as investors continued value buying. The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Wednesday's trading session at 175,285.78, up 1,766.97 points or 1.02%. The index remained positive throughout the day, touching an intraday high of 176,701.38 (+3,182.57 points) and a low of 173,870.27 (+351.46 points). The total volume traded in the KSE-100 Index stood at 248.39 million shares. Of the 100 index companies, 82 closed higher, 17 ended lower, while 1 remained unchanged. Top gainers during the day were TPLRF1 (+7.44%), NBP (+4.27%), AKBL (+3.29%), NPL (+2.88%), and ENGROH (+2.65%).
