OGDCL revives gas production in Attock

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) announced on Thursday that it had successfully revived gas production from Jand-1 well, located in Attock District, Punjab. The listed E&P disclosed the development via a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today. “Jand-1 well is currently producing over 21 MMSCFD [million standard cubic feet per day] of gas through a 32/64” choke at wellhead flowing pressure (WHFP) of 3,585 psi, representing a substantial increase over its previous production level of around 7 MMSCFD,” the notice read. The company said that the well was initially brought on production in 2019 through the Dakhni Gas Processing Plant and was producing gas with a high H₂S concentration of approximately 8% (~80,000 ppm).
