Envoy invites foreign firms to invest in tech zones

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi briefed Chinese and international enterprises and entrepreneurs about the lucrative incentives being offered by Islamabad and invited them to invest in the National Aerospace Science and Technology Parks as well as in the thriving unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 8th Drone World Congress being held from May 24 to 26 in the southern Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen, the ambassador highlighted the UAV landscape, research and development (R&D) and investment opportunities in Pakistan. He underlined Pakistan’s strengths including the large youth population, significant dividends for investors and collaborators, who would seize the opportunity to partner with Islamabad in its UAV journey. He also outlined the progress and achievements in the development and deployment of drones and UAVs for diverse purposes.
